Individual Therapy in Asheville and Online in NC
Marking the Threshold You're In
We live in a culture that has largely forgotten how to mark its thresholds. Without ritual or community to hold our transitions, deep heartbreaks, turmoil, and longing are often treated as symptoms to manage rather than passages to move through.
I support you in meeting your threshold as a rite of passage by drawing on the steady presence of the natural world, the wisdom of your body, and the quiet, enduring support of your lineage.
Navigating Grief and Loss
I support you as you feel and move through:
Deep Personal Loss: Losing someone you love, or the ambiguous grief of watching someone fade with dementia or Alzheimer's.
Frozen Grief: Sorrow that has settled in and hasn't moved, no matter how much time has passed.
Layered, Cumulative Grief: Loss after loss, with little room to feel any one of them fully.
Fractured Futures: The death of a shared future (breakups, separation, pregnancy loss, body grief)
Collective Sorrow: Climate and ecological grief
Meaning and Purpose
This work holds space if you are:
At a Crossroads: Asking what you love, what you want to do with this life, or navigating major life and career transitions.
Answering a Call: Sensing there is a deeper calling or purpose you haven't yet found your way to.
Connecting with Lineages: Seeking to understand, unburden, and connect with generational or ancestral patterns.
Deepening Intuition: Desiring to work with dreams, symbols, and what lives beneath ordinary awareness.
Claiming Wholeness: Wanting to cultivate the fuller facets of who you are, moving steadily toward a sense of you are completely worthy.

Approaches

Eco-therapy sees humans as part of the earth and in relationship with all other beings, from rock beds to rivers, tall trees to galaxies. Our psyche is not separate from the environment, and the nature outside our bodies mirrors our internal landscape. I invite clients to take invitations out onto the land between sessions, and I offer dreamwork, imagery, and co-created ritual. Sessions with me do not need to happen outside; much of the impact comes from what you carry into your life between sessions.
Eco-therapy is more than feeling good after spending time at the river or gardening. It is an approach that offers bone-deep reminders of our belonging, connectedness, and relationships with the wild interconnected world. Our most ancient animal selves remember we are encircled by the sacred and it is within us and that can be profoundly healing.
These practices can serve to re-enchant us, help us reclaim our belonging, and support our healing. I do not find that sessions need to happen outside as a lot of the impact is what clients experience between sessions.

Depth psychology is the study of soul, the mythic self, and the profound, life-altering encounters that shape us. Rather than trying to fix or eliminate a problem, this approach looks for the wisdom inside our wounds and struggles, seeing them as pointing the way toward healing and connection with the mysterious. It includes approaching our shadow, the unconscious, and the liminal: the places that are neither here nor there.

Dreams are communications from the psyche, offering medicine that can support us in finding ease, connection, and healing. My approach guides you back into the images, sensations, and knowings of the dream so it can offer its full meaning, and includes invitations to bring dreams into waking life through journaling, embodiment, and outdoor practice.
